Havens Ranch is a 154 acre oasis in the Nevada desert. Nestled in the Humboldt River Valley with sweeping mountain views and stunning sunsets we are just 10 minutes from Winnemucca. Originally homesteaded by a family of well drillers in the 1940’s, our small working ranch now includes a thoughtfully designed outdoor event space perfect for weddings and private events.

The rustic charm of the historic outbuildings set against lush green fields and mature trees are a picturesque backdrop for any event.

What We Provide

From your first visit to the ranch until the end of your event, we will be available to you. We are a small family business and take pride in being here to make you feel welcome and supported, and ensure that your day is personal and stress-free.

We offer three tiers of packages to accommodate any size of event, all of which include a Dancefloor, Bridal Suite, Indoor bathrooms, PA system, tables and chairs. Camping is encouraged!

We do not have onsite catering, but welcome any vendors you choose to work with.

Each event is different, and we love that! We can’t wait to hear what you have planned and help you achieve it.

Who We Are

Havens Ranch is a family owned and operated business through and through. The creation of the wedding venue has incorporated many ideas from the Havens family and close friends, and it is truly a labor of love for all who have been involved. We take pride in keeping it personal and unique.

Warren, the owner, will be here to greet you when you arrive and will work with you throughout the planning and creation of your event. Potata, the sweetest ranch dog you’ve ever met will likely be part of the welcoming committee and while she is useless at wedding planning, she is guaranteed to steal your heart!


  • Owner and Founder

    Warren, a Winnemucca native, saw Havens Ranch to be a diamond in the rough and purchased it in 2016, envisioning building a wedding venue in the stunning river valley. When he first walked the property there was nothing but an old house and a dozen dead trees where we now have a rich green lawn and peaceful waterfall. Warren has a natural aptitude for building and fixing just about anything, and a sharp eye for creating beauty, so constructing a picturesque wedding venue was right up his ally.

    Warren runs several other successful businesses so when he’s not hosting a wedding he’s probably powder coating, welding, or fixing a fence for his longhorn cattle. There’s always something to do around here!

    In his time away from the ranch Warren loves prospecting in the hills, fishing with his son and spending time with his family.
